English National Domestic Violence Helpline

The freephone 24-hour National Domestic Violence Helpline, run in partnership between Women's Aid and Refuge, is a national service for women experiencing domestic violence, their family, friends, colleagues and others calling on their behalf. Call 0808 2000 247.

National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV)

NCDV specialise in providing free, fast and effective legal support to survivors of domestic violence and abuse, usually by helping individuals to obtain injunctions from their local county court. Call  0800 970 2070.

Domestic Violence Assist (DV Assist)

DV Assist is the only registered charity arranging Non-Molestation Orders, Child Steps Orders and Occupation Orders. Call 0800 195 8699.

Rights of Women

Rights of Women is an organisation aiming to empower women to access their legal rights – they run help lines staffed by volunteer legally trained women.

Formerly Paws for Kids, the Endeavour Project aims to end domestic abuse for people and pets. Its services include pet fostering, its Safe Haven Project, Independent Domestic Violence Advice and a Young Persons Domestic Violence Advice Service.

Muslim Women's Helpline
