Chester

Chief Inspector Michael Evans

I am extremely proud to be leading the Chester Local Policing Unit, which encompasses the city itself and villages of Frodsham, Helsby, Malpas, Tattenhall, Kelsall and Farndon, along with the surrounding areas of West Cheshire.

I have ten years’ police service, most recently as Detective Inspector at Runcorn LPU, and prior to that I spent two years as the Neighbourhood Inspector for Widnes. I look forward to working with a great team of officers who are all passionate about improving their local communities.

Policing Chester LPU holds significant challenges - not least due to the geography and diverse range of communities - but I can assure you that it is the community that sits at the heart of what we do, and I look forward to working with my colleagues and our partner agencies to deliver an outstanding policing service to the residents of Chester LPU.
