Appeal for dashcam footage after serious collision in Widnes Date published: 5th April 2019 2.10pm

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious collision in Widnes.

The collision was between a Peugeot 307 and a motorbike on Highfield Road, Widnes, at 4pm on Thursday 4 April.

The rider of the motorbike, a 31-year-old man, was taken to Aintree Hospital with a serious, but not life threatening injury.

The passenger of the motorcyclist, a 25-year-old woman, was taken to Aintree Hospital with a life changing, but not life threatening, injury. They both remain in hospital at this time.

Sergeant Anton Sullivan said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the build up to the collision or the collision itself to come forward. Also anyone who may have dashcam footage should get in touch with the police.
