Crewe police appeal for video footage after assault in Queens Park Date published: 8th September 2019 6.41pm

Police in Crewe are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy was assaulted in Queens Park in Crewe.

Shortly before 3.15pm on Sunday 8 September the victim was by the lake when he was pushed off his bike and assaulted by a group of boys.

He was taken to Leighton for his injuries to be assessed.

Insp Amber Hodson said: “There were plenty of people in the park at the time, and I would urge them to contact police if they saw anything but have not yet spoken to police. I’d also appeal to anyone who recorded the assault on their phones to send this to us to help us with our enquiries.”

Three boys, all from Crewe aged 14, 15 and 16 have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
