Investigation launched after fatal collision on the A41 Date published: 17th April 2019 2.16pm

Cheshire Constabulary has launched an investigation after a fatal collision on the A41 today (Wednesday 17 April).

The crash happened at 9.06am on the A41 near to No Man’s Heath and was involved two HGVs and a Land Rover.

The driver of the Land Rover, an 80-year-old man from Wrenbury, sadly died at the scene.

One man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital as a precaution and has since been discharged.

The A41 is currently closed between the Broxton roundabout and the roundabout for the A41/A49. This will remain closed until this evening for recovery of the vehicles.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and severe delays are likely.
