Police appeal for witnesses after Congleton phone shop burglary Date published: 20th April 2017 12.52pm

Police are appealing for witnesses following a beak in at a phone shop in Congleton Retail Park, Barn  Road, Congleton.

Shortly after midnight on 20 April 2017 offenders broke into Carphone Warehouse and the alarm was activated. The thieves fled empty handed.

Police attended and made a search with the help of dogs and air support. Despite an extensive search of the area the suspects were not located.

DI Simon Newell said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area before or after the alarm was activated to contact us on 101.”

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 20 of 20 April 2017.
