Witness and footage appeal following serious collision in Allostock Date published: 27th August 2019 10.11am

Officers investigating a serious collision in Allostock are appealing for information and footage from members of the public.

Police were notified of the collision involving two red and black motorbikes and a silver SEAT Ateca car at around 12.45pm on Sunday 25 August.

It occurred by the Three Greyhounds Inn in Holmes Chapel Lane, Allostock, near Knutsford.

The rider of one of the motorbikes, a 20-year-old man from Allostock, was airlifted to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

The other motorbike rider, a 19-year-old man from Holmes Chapel, was also taken to hospital. His condition is described as stable.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any other information or dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.

Sergeant Nick Rogers, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “Two young men are currently in hospital as a result of the collision, one of whom is in a critical condition.

“We are determined to establish exactly what happened and I urge anyone who witnessed the incident or anything else that may help our investigation to contact the team here at the Roads Policing Unit.

“The same goes for anyone who believes they have dashcam footage that may be relevant to the investigation.”
