Apprenticeship opportunities now available Date published: 29th June 2018 1.45pm

Cheshire Constabulary has an exciting opportunity for individuals to join the force on an apprenticeship programme obtaining a Level 2 qualification in Business and Administration. 

This fantastic scheme will enable you to learn more about the organisation and the service we provide to the public, whist obtaining a qualification. 

This apprenticeship programme will be open to individuals who have the drive, ambition and desire to contribute to the success of the force. 

Successful candidates will embark on a 12 month fixed term contract with Cheshire Constabulary to complete the Level 2 qualification. Cheshire Constabulary will provide support to all individuals to assist in them obtaining future employment whether it is within force or external.

Embarking on this apprenticeship will allow you the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experience in the support staff functions of Cheshire Constabulary, giving you the chance to become a valued member of one of our many departments within Headquarters. 

The apprenticeship scheme is open to individuals who are 16 and above. Applicants who are of the age of 15 are able to apply however must be 16 at the point of starting with Cheshire Constabulary. It is proposed that successful candidates will commence in the role in September 2018. However please note that this date may be subject to change. 

Minimum requirements to apply for this role are 5 GCSE’s A*-C. Candidates are required to attach their qualifications as a supporting document on their application form. Individuals who have not yet obtained their GCSE results are required to attach their predicted grades.
In addition to attaching your qualifications you also need to ensure that you attach the relevant reference information. 

•If in full time education- include completed educational reference which is attached to advert and character reference details 

•If in full time employment- include completed employment and character reference details.
