Detectives have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak in-connection with an armed robbery in Warrington.

At 9.45pm on Tuesday, 7 November two men armed with a hockey stick entered an off license on Loushers Lane in Latchford and demanded the shop assistant hand over cash from the till. The offenders left the store with money and a bottle of alcohol.

The man holding the hockey stick is described as being white, aged 17-20, around 5”10 in height and of a skinny build. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black gloves and a black tracksuit bottoms. He has mousey brown long hair and pointed facial features. The hockey stick appeared to be well used and had blue and white markings.

The second man is described as white, aged 17-18, around 5”11 and of a stocky build. He had a pale complexion with fair coloured eyes. He was wearing a black coat and black tracksuit bottoms and had something covering his mouth. He was also carrying an unknown implement.

Detective Constable Steven Sanson, of Warrington CID, said: "We are really keen to speak to these two men and I would encourage anyone who has any information, no matter how big or small, to come forward and speak to us. Any information could really help us with our investigation."
