Detectives have charged 13 men with drug offences following an operation by Cheshire Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) to target organised crime in Warrington.
All of the men are facing charges relating to the conspiracy to supply class A (cocaine) drugs. Eight of the men have been remanded into police custody and five have been bailed. All are due to appear at West Cheshire Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 26 September).
A 19-year-old Warrington man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs (cocaine) and possession with intent to supply (cocaine) has been released under investigation.
The charges relate to arrests made on Tuesday 25 September as part of a number of early morning raids in Warrington, Widnes, Cumbria and Scunthorpe after more than 140 officers executed warrants.
Following the execution of the warrants local police community support officers carried out high-visibility patrols to offer reassurance to local residents.
