Detectives charge five men with burglary following ATM attacks in Willaston and across the country Date published: 4th October 2018 8.43am

Detectives have charged five men with burglary offences following an operation by Ellesmere Port detectives to target ATM attacks in Willaston and across the country.

All of the men are facing charges relating to conspiracy to commit burglary between 23 July and 18 September in the Cheshire, West Yorkshire, Lancashire, North Wales, West Midlands and Merseyside areas. They have been remanded into custody and will appear at Chester Magistrates Court today (Thursday 4 October).

Mark Fitzgerald, aged 25, Violet Road, Claughton 
Benjamin Ollerhead, aged 21, of Prince Edward Street in Birkenhead
Neil Piercy, aged 36, of Holm Lane, Oxton

The charges relate to arrests made on Wednesday 3 October as part of a number of early morning raids in Merseyside after more than 80 officers executed warrants.
