Detectives charge man with burglary in Ellesmere Port Date published: 3rd May 2018 9.09am

A 22-year-old man has been charged by detectives investigating family gold burglaries.

Michael Berry, of no fixed address, has been charged with five burglary dwellings and taking a vehicle without consent. He has been remanded into custody.

The charges relate to a burglary which took place in Ellesmere Port on 1 January as well as three burglaries in Oldham and one in Rochdale.

James Loveridge, 36-years-old, of Roch Vale Caravan Park, Pringle Street, Rochdale has been charged by Police Scotland in connection with seven burglary offences in Glasgow.

A 33-year-old man has been released under investigation for money laundering.

A 16-year-old has been released on bail.
