Family pay tribute to man who died in A500 collision Date published: 8th November 2016 12.45pm

The family of a man who died in the serious collision on the A500 in Barthomley have paid tribute.

The collision which occurred at about 5.37am Monday 7 November involved a van and a HGV. The van driver, Neil Dey, 31, from Willaston was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries but sadly died.

The driver of the HGV was taken to Leighton Hospital with injuries which are believed to be minor.

Neil’s family said: “Neil was an outstanding young man.  We know how much he loved Eadaoin (his fiancée), and his family.  We know how much he was loved. We will miss him always.”
