Man charged following cannabis plants seizure in Ellesmere Port Date published: 27th September 2018 11.56am

A man has been charged following the discovery of a large quantity of cannabis plants at a house in Ellesmere Port. 

At around 5.25pm on Wednesday 26 September officers executed a warrant at an address on Exeter Road.

They found more than 300 cannabis plants inside the house and arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a controlled drug of class B.

The man – Nguyen Minh, of no fixed address  – has since been charged with the offence.

He was due to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Friday 28 September.
