Officers investigating a burglary in Middlewich have charged a man in relation to the incident.
Michael Doherty, 26, was arrested on Tuesday 17 July following an incident on St Ann’s Road.
He was subsequently charged with two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary. The charges relate to the St Ann’s incident and two further incidents in Sandbach.
Doherty, who is from the Manchester area, was also charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of a knife.
He has been remanded in police custody and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court later today, Wednesday 18 July.
