Man charged following proactive drugs operation in Willaston Date published: 1st August 2018 1.13pm

A Liverpool man has been charged with drugs offences following a proactive drugs operation in Willaston.

Lee Marr, 29, was arrested at 2pm on Tuesday 31 July after officers from Crewe Local Policing Unit stopped a taxi on Wistaston Road.

Marr, of Beckett Street, Liverpool, was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He appeared at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 1 August where he pleaded not guilty to charges.

Marr has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Chester Crown Court on 29 August.

Three other men were also arrested as part of the operation, all of whom have since been released pending further enquiries.
