A 38-year-old man has been charged with driving offences following a serious collision in Elton.
On Monday 15 April Joseph Berry, of Fenwick Drive, Wrexham was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, failing to report a collision, driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance.
He appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 16 April where he was remanded into custody.
The charge relates to a serious collision on Saturday 24 November 2018 on Meadowview in Elton involving two vehicles. A 37-year-old woman was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital (COCH) by ambulance where she sadly died.
