Man pleads guilty to Northwich theft Date published: 23rd April 2018 1.23pm

A man from Cuddington has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a theft in Northwich Town Centre.

Thomas Hill, 19, of Waste Lane, Cuddington, appeared at Chester Magistrates on 13 April where he pleaded guilty to theft.

He was sentenced to undertake 180 hours community service and ordered to pay £350 compensation; he was also handed £170 in fines.

The charge related to an incident on Crum Hill car park on Tuesday 27 March, where a 64-year-old woman had here handbag stolen as she sat in her car.
