Men charged following incident at Neston pub Date published: 23rd May 2018 11.03am

Officers from Ellesmere Port have charged two men following an incident at a pub in Neston.

Shortly after 10pm on Sunday 19 May officers were called to reports of a disturbance outside a public house on Parkgate Road.

Officers swiftly attended the scene and arrested two local men on suspicion of a number of offences.

David James Walker, 51, has subsequently been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Jake Kurtis Walker, 23, has since been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

David, of Spenser Road, Neston, and Jake, of Mayfield Gardens, Neston, appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on 22 May where they were remanded in custody.

They pair are next due to appear at Chester Crown Court on 16 June 2018.
