Men charged with drug offences following dawn raids in Runcorn and Liverpool Date published: 17th July 2019 8.22am

Three men have been charged with drug offences after officers carried out dawn raids at their homes in Runcorn and Liverpool.

The warrants were executed simultaneously at the homes of Callum Pope, 19, and Dean Potter and Louis Costes, both 21, at around 7.45am on Tuesday 16 July.

Pope lives in Lime Grove, Runcorn, Potter resides at The Decks, Runcorn, and Costes’ address is in Antons Close, Halewood, Liverpool.

Quantities of what is believed to be cannabis were seized during the raids.

Pope, Potter and Costes have all subsequently been charged with conspiracy to supply a class B drug (cannabis).

Pope and Potter have also been charged with acquiring criminal property and possession with intent to supply a class B drug (cannabis).

The three men appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 17 July.

Pope and Potter were remanded in custody and Costes was released on conditional bail.

All three men are set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 14 August.

The warrants were executed by officers investigating the supply of cannabis in Runcorn.
