More arrests as part of Operation Hatay Date published: 29th July 2015 11.38am

Operation Hatay 5 continued on Tuesday with some excellent work from teams from across the force working together to locate and arrest those wanted for various offences.

Officers and staff succeeded in arresting 25 people across the county, some of whom had been outstanding for many months.

Those arrested yesterday have included those who were wanted for fail to attend warrants, theft, stalking, burglary, recall to prison and breach of court orders.

Chief Inspector Simon Parsonage said: “As well as sterling work by individual officers going the extra mile to locate and share information to apprehend those wanted, harbouring letters are also being issued to families and associates warning them that harbouring an offender is an offence.

“The hard work going on right now across the county is showing that we are determined to see justice done and reminds offenders that no stone will be left unturned to locate and arrest them. We will continue with Operation Hatay throughout the year.”
