Runcorn men charged with class A and B drug offences Date published: 18th March 2019 1.17pm

Two men from Runcorn have been charged with drug offences following a raid in the town.

Michael Barr, 35, and Tony Monroe, 29, were arrested on Friday 15 March after a warrant was executed at an address in Norton Hill.

They have each subsequently been charged with three offences – possessing with intent to supply controlled drugs of class A (cocaine) and class B (cannabis) and possessing criminal property.

The pair, both of Norton Hill, Runcorn, appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 16 March.

They were remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 15 April.
