Detectives have charged six people with drug offences following an investigation to target an organised crime group in Congleton and Merseyside.
The four women and two men have all been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and remanded to appear at South and East Cheshire Magistrates Court this morning (2 February).
A 19-year-old from Liverpool has been released without charge and a 20-year-old man from Liverpool has been released under investigation.
The charges relate to arrests made on Thursday, 1 February after a number of early morning raids took place in Congleton and Merseyside, with more than 60 officers executing warrants.
Following the execution of the warrants local police community support officers have carried out high-visibility patrols to offer reassurance to local residents.
