Three men have been arrested and charged with possession of intent Class A drugs following a drugs raid in Middlewich, which was conducted as part of Operation ImpACT.

Daniel Evans, 41, Graham Holmes, 48 and Stuart Holmes, 35, were all arrested by officers from Crewe Local Policing Unit on Monday 13 July following a drugs warrant that was carried out at an address on Booth Lane.

All three appeared at Macclesfield Magistrates on Tuesday 14 July. Graham and Stuart Holmes were remanded in custody and Daniel Evans was released on bail.

Detective Sergeant Richard Johnson from Crewe Local Policing team said:

The corrosive effect that drug abuse and associated criminality has on our communities is well known, and we are committed to tackling the problem and targeting those involved.

“Operation ImpACT reinforces the commitment that the police and partner agencies have in targeting those people that undermine our communities and bring misery to residents through their involvement in organised crime and illegal drugs.

"Information from members of the public is vital in the fight against drug related crime. We would urge anyone with any information in relation to drug use and supply in your community to get in touch on 101, or alternatively information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
