Three men charged in connection with burglaries in Macclesfield Date published: 2nd February 2017 12pm

Three men have been charged in connection with an ongoing investigation into burglaries in the Macclesfield area.

The trio were arrested on Wednesday 1 February by officers from Macclesfield Local Policing Unit and were subsequently charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

The charges relate to a series of incidents across Macclesfield and Greater Manchester over the past 12 months.

Stuart Sumnell, 37, of York Close, Cheadle, Martin Campbell, 26, of Kings Road, Hazel Grove and Wayne Taylor, 51 of Stonemill Terrace, Stockport, were remanded into custody and are due to appear at South and East Cheshire Magistrates’ Court today (2 February).
