Three people from Crewe have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries in the town.

The two men – Jerzy Janczewski and Damian Nocny, both 30 – and 22-year-old woman Karolina Gorka were arrested on Tuesday 16 July.

Janczewski was arrested in Earl Street in Crewe town centre at around 10.30am.

Nocny and Gorka were both arrested at around 12.30pm after officers executed a warrant at an address in Chambers Street in Crewe.

All three of them have subsequently been charged with conspiracy to commit a burglary, possessing criminal property and possessing identity documents with intent.

The burglary charges relate to incidents in the Nantwich Road area between Friday 22 May and Tuesday 16 July.

Janczewski has also been charged with five counts of fraud by false representation and possessing a class B drug (amphetamine).

Gorka has been charged with possessing a different class B drug (cannabis).

Janczewski, Nocny and Gorka, all of Chambers Street, Crewe, appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 18 July.

They have all been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 15 August.
