Three people charged with class A drugs offences following raid in Crewe Date published: 26th July 2019 12.24pm

Three people have been charged with class A drug offences after officers raided a property in Crewe.

The warrant was executed in Brooklyn Street at around 11am yesterday, Thursday 25 July.

Quantities of what are believed to be class A drugs and cash were seized during the raid.

Twenty-year-old man Jamie Taggert and 37-year-old woman Corrine Hudson were arrested at the address.

Forty two-year-old man Craig Bennett was arrested a short distance away in Brooklyn Street.

They have all subsequently been charged with Conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Liverpool man Taggert, of no fixed address, has also been charged with possession of criminal property.

Taggert; Hudson, of Oldfield Avenue, Wrenbury, Nantwich; and Bennett, of Brooklyn Street, Crewe; have all been remanded in custody.

The trio are set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 26 July.

The warrant was executed by officers investigating the supply of class A drugs in Crewe that are suspected to have originated from Liverpool.
