Two men charged as part of efforts to tackle drugs crime in Congleton Date published: 7th July 2017 7.21am

Two men arrested a part of on-going efforts to disrupt and dismantle the drugs network across Congleton have been charged.

Sam Close, 34, of Fern Crescent, Congleton, and Christopher Brass, 53, of Wharf Road, Biddulph, were both arrested on Wednesday 5 July following a vehicle stop check on the M6 near Holmes Chapel.

Following questioning Close and Bath were both charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A Drugs (Heroin and Crack Cocaine).

The pair have both been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Friday 7 July.
