Two men charged following burglary at Chester restaurant Date published: 27th September 2019 3.20pm

Two men from Chester have been charged with burgling a buffet restaurant in the city.

William Forsyth, 50, and Stephen Sailes, 43, were both arrested on Raymond Street in Chester at around 1am today, Friday 27 September.

They have subsequently been charged with burglary.

The charge relates to an incident that occurred at around midnight on Monday 23 September.

The Panda Mami restaurant in Newgate Street was broken into and had bottles of spirits stolen from it.

Forsyth, of no fixed address, and Sailes, of Raymond Street, have both been remanded in custody.

They are due to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Saturday 28 September.
