Two men charged following drug warrants in Ellesmere Port Date published: 9th February 2017 11.50am

On Wednesday 8 February officers from Ellesmere Port executed a number of warrants at addresses in Earls Gardens and Princes Road where they recovered drugs and a large amount of cash. Four people were subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

Daniel Taylor, 32-years-old and Simon Parker, 23-years-old, both from Earls Gardens in Ellesmere Port have been charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug. Both Taylor and Parker have been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday 9 February).

A 58-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Graeme Carvell, of Ellesmere Port Local Policing Unit, said: “We are working hard to target those responsible for supplying controlled drugs in our community and we will ensure they are dealt with robustly once identified.
