Two men charged with drug offences following vehicle stop in Rudheath Date published: 11th March 2019 2.45pm

Two men have been charged with class A drugs offences after a car was stopped and searched in the Northwich area.

John Ellison, of Elaine Street, Liverpool, and Kadell Rivers, of Skelton Road, Stretford, were arrested after a vehicle was pulled over on King Street in Rudheath at around 1am on Thursday 7 March.

They have subsequently been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a controlled drug of class A (heroin and cocaine).

Ellison has also been charged with possessing a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).

Ellison, 29, and Rivers, 24, appeared at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 9 March.

They were remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 8 April.
