Police have charged a 24-year-old man with a number of offences following his arrest on Thursday after being wanted for eight months. He had been wanted for failing to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Michael Davies, of no fixed address, has been charged with dangerous driving, assault with intent to resist arrest, assaulting a constable, possession of cannabis with intent to supply, common assault, driving a vehicle without a license, escape from lawful custody, obstructing a constable and driving without insurance.

He will appear at Warrington Combined Courts on 25th August.
