We're proud to serve: Claire Lloyd Date published: 17th November 2015 3.40pm

With more than 3,300 employees working for the Constabulary, our officers and staff help and support our communities every single day.
To give you a better understanding of how we do this, we want you to meet the people behind the uniform who are proud to serve the people of Cheshire.

The first person we're focusing on is Claire Lloyd.

About Claire

Claire LloydClaire Lloyd is currently a temporary Police Sergeant in Crewe Local Policing Unit.

Claire has been with the force for nearly nine years, and throughout her career she has always worked in front line policing.

Claire said: “I joined the police to find a job that tested who I was. I enjoy the fact that I can come to work and know that no day is like the one before. I love the people I work with and working in a busy LPU has given me a window on the world that most people will never see.

“For me the best part of being a police officer is knowing that you are making a difference and helping victims of crime. I achieve a great sense of satisfaction knowing that my hard work has helped bring an offender to justice and in doing so feel like I've done something to make someone else's life just a little better.

“Being a police officer is fun and rewarding. It's not just a job. It becomes part of who and what you are, and there are not many professions that can get into your blood like the police seems to.

“I am driven to maintain my own high standards in everything I do and in other officers. I hope one day I will be able to look back on my career and say ‘I achieved all my goals’.

“I find it exciting to implement new ideas and see them through to fruition. I like to be challenged on the job and desire the opportunity to utilize my skills and talents.”
